In this Part 3 of our recorded live episode (you can listen to Part 1 and Part 2 here), we dive into a discussion of the genre that comes stock with 13th Age (high fantasy) then talk about ways to adapt that to different fantasy genres. What would need to be done to run 13th Age in a Sword and Sorcery or Low-Fantasy setting? Or what about a Science-Fantasy setting? In addition to talking about what’s defining of those genres, we talk about ways to reskin classes, what mechanics might need to be tweaked, and how the Icons might be played differently.
